Just Pictures

We recently had a blast down in Milwaukee with my brother and his wife. But we forgot to bring out camera! So all I have is some cute pictures of Darren. You can never have to many cute pictures of your own baby! And I am sorry that I never put up pictures of the shower, but they are still coming.

Without Dad

Well here we are again another week with out Dad. I can tell that Darren misses him. I miss him too. Nights are really scary in this old house with out my big strong man to keep me safe. Here are some things that you are missing while you are gone Daddy.

We are done

Darren's CT scan that he was scheduled for when great! He had to be starving but never got fussy, I was so proud of him. And although I was really glad to hear the Doctor say that everything was normal with the scan part of me just wants to be done. We have searched for an answer and have found nothing. The cause of his high blood pressure may be a mystery. He is now off of his blood pressure meds, and everything is under control. So we asked ourselves, is it possible that doctors may not have all the answers? In our case we think this one is to remain unanswered. Darren is a happy healthy baby with no more high blood pressure! So we are done.

Baby Shower

Well, I don't have any pictures to post today. I Just have an update. Darren got his synagis shot this week to help prevent RSV. He doesn't like getting shots. The nurse told me to be extra careful with him in the next months because they are starting to have people come in that are testing positive for RSV. Next up for Darren on Feburary 7th he gets a CT scan. I am not looking forward to that day because he has to be out for it. He can't eat for a certain amount of time before hand and he gets cranky when he doesn't get his food! Won't that be a fun day. The CT scan is looking at his adrenial gland to see if there is a blockage in there. If they do find something chances are he will have to have surgery to remove it.

On a lighter note, I am looking forward to a baby shower for Darren tomorrow. My wonderful Mother, Sister-in-law and Sherry are throwing it for Darren and I. They always do such a great job. Don't worry I'll take lots of pictures and post them next week.
